Throughout the apartment you’ll find stylish, upscale furniture atop hardwood floors, chic light fixtures, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick & more. The property features: An outdoor patio area. Whether it’s sitting by the fireplace on a cool night or having cocktails and hors devours at the outdoor dining table, guests can enjoy the privacy and comfort of our fenced in outdoor patio area which is located in the back of the house by the entrance to the apartment. A dining area. After walking up the 6 stairs onto the porch or using the wheelchair access, guests walk through the main entrance to the apartment and into the dining room area. This room features a dining table with four chairs, perfect for home-cooked meals or board/card games on a rainy day. TWO bedrooms. The first bedroom, located on the 1st floor, includes a queen-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a large dresser. Walk up one flight of stairs to the second floor to find the 2nd bedroom. This bedroom includes a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a full-length mirror, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a large walk-in closet. One full bathroom. Located on the first floor, the bathroom has new tile floors, marble countertops and a full bathtub/shower. A comfortable living room with a bright, modern interior and an HD flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. Exposed brick is centerpieced on the wall behind the loveseat sofa. Stylish accent chairs frame the living room making it the ultimate space to converse and unwind. A fully-equipped kitchen. Our kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, stovetop, standard size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all of your other kitchen needs. You will feel right at home cooking with our vintage style appliances and reminiscing about the good ole’ days. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen/dining area- as well as being wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant, you can check off all of the items on your ‘Explore Historic Charleston’ Bucket List, while enjoying your own private space to come home to. Guest Access: Guests will have exclusive access to the back of the building. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety. You can pull your car to unload in the front, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze. The parking is located off site and costs $18 dollars a day. It is located at 558 King st just a half mile away from the rental. The Neighbourhood: Cannonborough/Elliotborough: The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include the Coquin Petite Cafe, The Grocery, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Ice Bing, Goulette, Five Loaves café, R Kitchen, Poke San, Pink Cactus, and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to 132 Spring or Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as buzzing restaurants. Publix conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well. The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel Interaction With Guests: Our team can provide self- check-in instructions for your convenience, or we can arrange for someone to meet you at the door if you prefer. If you need anything at all, we can be reached via text or phone. If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Charleston County is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler within 72 hours. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler’s group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance. No Smoking Allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY permitted outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors to keep smoke from trailing inside. This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine.
