Kawasaki is a city that can be reached by taking a 20-minute train from Tokyo. It is an industrial city and is most often skipped when people travel from Tokyo to Yokohama.
Kawasaki does have something very special to offer, an arcade that has a very different look compared to most arcades in Japan. Anata no Warehouse (meaning Your Warehouse) is a sci-fi / Kowloon Walled City inspired arcade. The looks of the arcade will leave you amazed.
You won’t be able to miss the building. Next to newer-looking buildings, you will find a building that looks like it is about to fall apart. With the words ‘Amusement Game Park Kawasaki Warehouse’ on it.

After entering the building you will have to walk through a hallway, towards the escalator or the elevator. The building has 4 floors, a ground floor, 2 floors full of arcades, and one floor with tables for pool or table tennis, darts and more.

Anata no Warehouse is a 10-minute walk from Kawasaki Station. Kawasaki Station is easy to reach from Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, it is a 15-20 minute ride to Kawasaki Station.
A bonus thing to do in front of the station of Kawasaki is to go to the basement of More’s Department Store. Here you will find the shortest escalator in the world, consisting of only 5 steps.
