The doors to the stunning Jewel Changi Airport are finally open and tons of visitors are expected to flock to the complex both before and after their flights. The $1.7 billion mega complex began development in early 2014 and was designed by Safdie Architects, the firm behind the Marina Bay Sands Complex. When you visit, you’ll get to witness its stunning glass and steel dome architecture which houses gardens, restaurants, bars, shops and more.

HSBC Rain Vortex

Visit the largest indoor waterfall in the world at Jewel Changi Airport. This is the centrepiece of the entire complex and is the perfect spot for a selfie for your instagram feed.

Shaw Theatres IMAX

Live life in the fast lane and catch a film at the Shaw Theatres in IMAX. Whether you’re in Singapore on transit or you’ve got some time to kill after your flight, choose from the latest releases and end the day on a high at Singapore’s newest cinema.

Petal Garden

If you want a break from the queues to eat and shop then the Petal Garden at the top of the Jewel Changi Airport is the place for you! Here you can enjoy creative displays of seasonal flowers from around the world.

A&W

After a long sixteen years absence from Singapore, A&W returns to make our root beer float dreams come true. Located at B2 of the new Jewel Changi Airport, this diner is open 24/7, and will serve its classic fare to international travellers and locals looking for a dose of nostalgic comfort food. All its classics are on the menu, including the famous root beer float ($3.50), chicken or beef coney dog ($5.20) and curly fries ($3.60).

Shake Shack

Shake Shack finally makes its long awaited Singapore debut on April 17. This New York-born burger brand has grown to cult status. It uses all-natural premium Angus beef to make the ShackBurger, its signature cheeseburger. For visitors who like excess goodness get the Shack Stack, which comes with an additional Shroom Burger layer of deep-fried crusted portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese.

Tiger Street Lab

Tiger Street Lab is the local beer brand’s first global experiential concept store where visitors can taste the flavours of Singapore, ranging from ice cold beer and comfort food to fashion and design. It’s the only place where you can try special limited edition Tiger brews, the first is the Orchid ($10), a black lager infused with the national flower Vanda Miss Joaquim. Tiger Beer is partnering up with Keng Eng Kee Seafood to offer zi char favourites like hor fun and coffee pork ribs.

Starbucks

Starbucks at Jewel Changi Airport is the first flagship store in Singapore and also the largest. Occupying two storeys, it celebrates the journey Starbucks has taken in Singapore thus far, with special art that highlights both the brand and local elements. This massive space offers free Wi-Fi, plenty of seats and power plugs alongside a wide selection of flagship-exclusive drinks and treats. The store offers special coffee made through manual brewing methods like the Chemex or Siphon brew. Check out its special four-tap nitro bar to cool off on a hot day. Favourites include the nitro flat white, nitro caramel macchiato and nitro green tea!

Pokemon Center Singapore

The first Pokemon centre to open outside of Japan, the Pokémon Center Singapore is an exact replica of the original. The centre is a specialist store for all fans of Pokémon and is the best spot to collect plush toys, video games, trading cards, Pokémon apparel and other limited official merchandise.
